MOTORCYCLE TECHNICIAN

Due to expansion we are looking for a fully qualified, experienced motorcycle technician to join the workshop team in our premium franchised dealership working on one of the UK motorcycle market's leading brands. The successful candidate must have experience of modern motorcycles and be able to use current diagnostic equipment as well as all aspects of servicing and modern engine work. From time to time you may also be required to talk to customers and as such you must be able to communicate clearly and provide technical explanations in a way that can be easily understood.

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate should be qualified and have experience of working in a franchised workshop environment.

Essential: You should have technical experience with modern motorcycles and be able to work unsupervised in a safe and timely manner to high exacting standards. You must be a self-starter with a flexible can do attitude, have a good attention to detail and be able to work as part of a team. A full bike and car licence are essential.

MERCHANDISER

Due to our ongoing success, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Merchandiser at Triumph Plymouth. The ideal candidate will be someone who has previous retail experience and a keen interest in the iconic Triumph® Brand. You will be responsible for displaying and selling the premium range of clothing and merchandise that Triumph® has to offer. You will also assist in the selling and ordering of motorcycle parts and accessories. You will join an established successful team with a passion to deliver beyond customer expectation.

Duties will include:

  • Presentation of clothing and merchandise throughout of the Showroom.
  • Stock rotation.
  • Ensuring all aspects are maintained, such as stock levels, price labels etc.
  • Prospecting for new business.
  • Keeping point of sale and online material, including ebay and website, up to date.
  • Selling and ordering of parts and accessories.
  • General showroom housekeeping.

The successful candidate will be an approachable individual who is target driven and self motivated. Knowledge on computers and good telephone manner essential. Weekend working will be required.
